Community

The vision for this ambitious project is to not only regenerate a building, but to Activate the Guildford Community.

The proposed development on the site aims to revitalise one of WA’s most iconic heritage towns. The site, located at the prominent corner of James and Johnson Streets, can once again be the hero of the community, with the proposed development aiming to invigorate the community as it has in past times, but also start a new era with the rear of the site proposed to become the site of a new retail hub, pulling together the local community and inviting visitors, tourists and new businesses to economically and socially boost the existing community. This represents an exciting project that will re-introduce active uses into the building, and allow public access, better usability and increased appreciation of the State Registered heritage site.
